Don't go if you are expecting a Dead show related film. I loved this story it touched me just like music does.

I really liked this movie, it's a great movie to take you're dad to, especially if you've had problems connecting to him. The music is great, and it really took me back to a time when things were different, magical, and more inocent. I would say that this a must see movie,( it will probably be a summer sleeper). The acting is good, J.K. Simmons, (seen on many TV shows like Law and Order, and the Closer) is excellant as the father.

the music is of course wonderful everything I love and grew up with, but the story, I cannot say enough about it, We all knew people who lived through similar situations with their parents, and parents who lost children in such a way, But to be able to come back together this way was wonderful and I cried remembering the music and my own memories of when and where

This is a fabulous movie where a father goes through a self journey as he learns more about his son. A re-connection with his self as he unravels the childhood of his son through music. The cinematography was excellent, and acting a real treat. A real tear-jerker! A great movie to see with parents, grandparents, kids...
